 Learn to Nuno Felt with Cindy from I Felt That!

Sunday September 17, 11 – 3pm

Nuno Felting is the art on bonding fibre to silk to make soft, drapey fabrics most often used in wearable art. Create a beautiful one-of-a-kind scarf using fine merino wool, silk chiffon and luxury embellishments. All fibres used in this class are hand dyed in small batches by Cindy. All supplies for this class will be provided
Cost: $95 + tax. All materials included.






* Lap Loom Tapestry Weaving with Althea *

September 16, Saturday 2 – 5pm
October 21, Saturday 2 – 5pm
December 16, Saturday 2 – 5pm

In this workshop you will learn basic weaving techniques on a handcrafted lap loom while making a wall hanging. You will find that this craft is as fun as it is addicting!

If you have any interesting yarn you want to include in your hanging bring it along, this is the perfect time to use up your odds and ends!! The wall hangings also need a rod to hang from ( in the photos we have used knitting needles) one will be provided in the class however if you have one you would like to use please bring it.

* Needle Felting with Armatures  *

October 14,   2 – 5pm Saturday Afternoon

Learn the basics of armature Needle felting with Cindy from I Felt That. We will be sculpting an adorable mouse over a wire frame (the armature). Felting experience is an asset but no required.

$65 + tax. All materials included.

Oct. 21, 1:30 – 4 Saturday Afternoon
Get into the spirit of Haloween and learn the basic stitches of embroidery! We will be creating a thread + needle holder with wonderfully embroidered top.
$55 + tax. Includes materials with basic thread colours. More supplis available for purchase with 10% same-day disocunt







 * Learn to Thrum * 

November 4,  2:30 – 4pm,  Saturday Afternoon

Learn how to do the popular technique of thrumming and keep your hands warm all winter long!
Previous experience in mitten making is a must for this workshop as we will be focusing on learning thrumming rather then learning how to knit a mitten.

$35 + tax and yarn. Thrums and pattern included.
